| CONTACT What seems like a long, long time ago, we built a brewery on the shores of Lake Purrumbete. We built our own brewhouse from second hand tanks, designed it ourselves and started with high hopes and with dreams of making great ales. We named our beer and brewery after the noble Shelducks who came to visit us when we were building our brewery. Since 2005 we have been making all natural, unfiltered and unpasteurised real ales at Purrumbete, and we are currently making all our ales in our own brewery. We opened our first shop; Red Duck Provedore, in December 2009, and the next big plan is to move to Ballarat early in 2011. This will mean relocating the brewery, hopefully including a cellar door and Red Duck Provedore number 2.
